If edited, it was probably done in AfterEffects or Final Cut Pro, but they may have just done it completely live and waited for three successful attempts to go in. Derren Brown style. He flipped 50 heads in a row once and asked how it was done – he just spent all day doing it until he managed to get a run of 50 heads.

There’s a reason for the cut away after the loser puts his head in the hole.
