Why not move it to late July and all of August? The rainy season only lasts from April to June. This way it wont conflict with Euro or Copa.

Nation Cup be moved to the summer ?????????? Why ? So that european clubs can bennefit ? Thats not in interrest with african countries FA.
If its a big problem to european clubs , then they should not buy players from the African continent.

I would rather move the World Cup to January/February and have it played at the other end of the world, where it's summer. The summer is such a great time to be in a football stadium. So a league that starts in February/March and ends in November/December would be much more fun.

I really don't think it should be changed simply because it inconveniences European Clubs. As you astutely pointed out, this isn't a surprise to anyone. It's been like this for a while. Some players might not like to leave while they're in form and doing well for their club because they might lose their spot in the lineup or might have to win it back depending on what happens while they're away but in the end I'd say that the majority of these players are more than happy to rep their countries on the continental stage. It's the least they can do in my opinion and I think that they would struggle to explain to their countrymen and fans who support them the reasons why they want to skip the tournament.

I have no pity for these clubs and let it be known that it doesn't only impact European ones. It impacts African ones too. I mean look at Etoile du Sahel, they could potentially lose 8 top players during that period. This is also true for Egypt and Morocco. These leagues are well established and pay better than a lot of other ones on the continent so theres higher quality players that stay behind. For sub Saharan African countries its another story as their worthwhile players usually have to leave to get proper pay and professional treatment abroad. Screw Europeans who can't understand. If they don't like it, too bad for them. Africa needs to put it's priorities first.
