Well the logo is not supposed to be tulips per say. The flowers are supposed to be what are called wycinanaki in polish. Its a folk art in both Poland and Ukraine. http://designfurnace.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/folkart-polish-300×289.jpg

Basically cutting up a paper after folding it in half to make pretty patterns.

The flowers looks like tulips. Nothing related with both countries. Also, the flag colors isn´t very clear. I liked to much the 2000 and 2008 euro logo´s, better far away!!

Nice spot on the orange revolution Elliott. I was actually wondering “Have they decided on an official Euro 2012 match ball already?” but now it seems the ball was included as a place to feature the orange. Makes sense now, and agree it’s a cool touch.

I like the color pink and am glad to see a logo with a feminine touch.

Also, and more importantly, the orange in the center ball is a not so subtle acknowledgment of the orange revolution in Ukraine, which I find awesome and outweighing of aesthetic complaints.

I love it. It’s not quite as pink as the version above, but that’s fine with me also.

So, what else about the logo makes people think this tournament won’t go well? Because its in Eastern Europe? Isn’t that outside of our allowable snark boundaries?
