The eleven giant statues of Euro 2008 players are broken down and removed from Zurich train station. Once they’d sawn off Michael Ballack’s head, Euro 2008 was officially over.

I remember being at the station when they were first built. I saw Ballack’s head all wrapped up ready to be loaded onto the the body…I’ve got to admit it was a bit creepy eating dinner and seeing a bunch of body parts every where..hands over here, bodies standing up without heads…
