Only 100 Days to Euros!

Hard to believe, but there are only 100 days till the start of Euro ‘08. Or technicallly, as I am writing this, 99 days and 18 hours. Not that I’m counting or anything.

It’s actually UEFA that has started the countdown as part of their official launch of their Euro ‘08 website. The website comes complete with an official countdown clock (from which I got my days/hours figure.)

I know you’ll be checking it daily.

Or maybe that’s just me.

Current headlines are telling us that “Euro preparations are firmly on track” that we should “Expect emotions with euro2008.com launch” and that the Euro soundtrack stars Shaggy. (But if you’re following Euros through World Cup Blog — and if you’re not, you should be — you knew that last one already. )

As Daryl has said already, we’re going to be providing heavy coverage of Euros here at World Cup Blog, including team blogs and lots of team and player profiles, plus heavy game coverage once the tournament gets under way.
