I think him impressing for a club is really the only way his place could be justified for Ghana in South Africa. He is a hugely influential member of the squad but had he continued to be unattached then there would have been more deserving players. Hopefully Appiah can get close to his old form and make Ghana that much stronger. It’s great to see Appiah finally join a new club.
