Please hepl us understand. We do not have enough electricity supply in S. Africa. we have our light cut off everyday, even during working hours. sometimes up to 4 hours. eskom, the ONLY supplier of electricity, whom the government protects, stated they cannot give us full electricity supply until maybe.. 2020. What will this country do if we are to hold 2010 in S.A? we will look like monkeys learning to swing from trees, worse, our visitors will think they have really come to darkest Africa. they and we will get a raw deal. Please bvelieve me this is a very serious matter, whereby employees get paid out more than R30,000,000.00 for a “job well done” but Eskom can’t even light up its own backyard, but lights up neighbouring countries will there be soccer by candlelight for 2010? sounds romantic Hmm… maybe we can change the look of soccer.
