David Beckham Lies to Snoop Dogg’s Wife

As promised, David Beckham appeared on Snoop Doggy Dogg’s reality show “Father Hood” (ho ho) to teach the Dee Oh Double Gee’s youngsters some real football. Seems that media reports of Snoop’s kids demanding to be coached by their hero Beckham were more than a little exaggerated, because the first thing they say when spotting Golden Balls isn’t “look, it’s David Beckham” but “who’s that?”

The second clue to their lack of enthusiasm is that Snoop and kids all turned up wearing house slippers. Still, one of Snoop’s puppies must have picked up something, as just before leaving he casually strikes a ball into the bottom right corner like it’s the most natural thing on earth. Maybe those academies really work?

Seems Snoop doesn’t know his football all that well, as he refers to Becks as “the greatest of all time,” which is a little embarrassing for all concerned. Still a nice little plug for Beckham, for the beautiful game and for his soccer academies, and genuinely interesting to see the two men interacting.

Especially at Roscoe’s House of Chicken and Waffles, where Snoop takes Beckham for lunch as payment. Snoop is clearly going against Mrs. Doggy Dogg’s orders by eating there and gets rumbled when his wife delivers the meals. But while Snoop Dogg panics, Beckham stays calm, acts polite and lies through his teeth to tell her that Snoop ordered a salad. Great work Golden Balls.
