Beckham and Gerrard Visit World’s Smallest Football League

By: Daryl | April 22nd, 2008 | 2 Comments »

Interesting idea from Adidas… their new commercial will be sending big names to small places. For example, the likes of David Beckham and Steven Gerrard will visit the Isles of Scilly, home to the world’s smallest football league with just two teams. The two England players will do a bit of coaching and, since it runs this summer, hopefully no one will mention Euro 2008

Very cool. Love the idea and what a great experience for the kids. The shot of The Special One in a rag-tag bus with the torn seat cracks me up.
