Yossi Benayoun Takes Out Latvia’s Coach
By: Daryl | October 18th, 2008 | 3 Comments »
I saw this briefly on YouTube before it disappeared on Thursday, presumably never to be seen again. But the good people at The Beautiful Game have found it again and shared it with the world.
It’s from Israel’s World Cup qualifier against Latvia from Wednesday night, which finished 1-1. Yossi Benayoun was clearly going for the ball, but instead he took out Latvia coach Aleksandrs Starkovs. Time for coaches to start wearing shin pads perhaps?
