Great Goal Salvador Cabanas, But Did You Mean It?
Spotted this video on our very own Paraguay WCB. It’s Salvador Cabanas scoring the only goal to give Paraguay an important 1-0 win over Colombia, and keep them top of CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying.
Great swerve on the ball, but as with Ronaldinho’s goal against England at the 2002 World Cup we have to ask: Shot or cross Cabanas? Shot or cross?

1. Definitely a lucky cross.
2. How cool is it that the announcer apparently does a play-by-play over the loudspeaker in the stadium? A lot better than our bored, “Save by Chris Eylander” followed by ten minutes of silence.

that was a LUCKY cross…but the way that ball bends is amazing…almost defying physics…

I think he was trying to cross, but just made some really shitty contact with the ball and got incredibly lucky. ahaha.

Aunque Cabañas tiene una definicion exquisita, y es el mejor delantero que juega en todo el continente americano. Quizas eso fue suerte, o no fue asi? No importa la intencion, fue un golazo, un gran gol. Típico de Salvador Cabañas.

it was a shot!!!! he said it!!!!!!!!!!!! golazo !
