You Can Have a Policeman in your World Cup 2010 Starting XI

By: WC Bob | May 14th, 2007 | 1 Comment »

These are the slowest of times when it comes to World Cup 2010 news as we continue to creep our way toward the start of qualifying. We learn today that South Africa is taking the issue of crime seriously and that it will deploy 30,000 police officers to keep all of the visitors safe in 2010. That works out to one police officer for every 10 visitor that is expected to attend the shindig. If you happen to be short a man when you are in the park playing a game of kick around that cop protecting you should come in handy.

Yap i think the additional police are a requirement. Surely such a big event would require additional reinforcements.

English Hooligans better watch it coz SAP (South African Police) is no joking matter.
