This would be more fun if they left the “entertainment” out and did the draw in a smoke filled room away from public eyes.

where’d it go?

Even though it is only the slimmest of chance that North Korea and South Korea could meet in the second round, that would be one heck of a game to see wouldn’t it?

Seems that Cover It Live crashed. Will have a fresh post up very soon with the eight groups.

Wow. France and USA got VERY lucky.

Wow, yeah Laurie. USMNT fans have no right to whine this time around. Though it has been said that England and Slovenia are the tough, physical teams that the USA doesn’t handle well.
And I doubt Algeria will fail to get points.
Also, Mexico is gonna have to embarrass South Africa in the opening match.
Finally, we could get Brazil-Spain in the Round of 16… or Portugal-Spain.

@Laurie
How can France get lucky? If you really look at the forms of the teams Group 1 is very very evenly matched. They all haven’t been playing at their best so it’s a very lazy group.
ron
nice easy group for England
Jason
Once again England gets an easy draw – suspicious of course it is, as FIFA know most of the large spending people will come from england and then want them to stay in order to make money. Beacuse we know Engalnd cannot beat decent sides like Spain, Brazil or any African or South American team and not forget Australia. Let’s not forget the easy draw for Italy and France as well maybe every country should cheat and pay referees.
Let the over rated England get through where they will lose to either Germany but lets hope they actually lose to Australia as we know England have not beaten australia for a long long time

Brazil’s group is pretty nasty. I’d fancy Ivory Coast to put Portugal or Brazil out of it. Also, I’ve got to say many English pundits and supporters are greatly underestimating the difficulty of their group. On a good day, Algeria and the USA could without question beat them, or even tie with a less than amazing performance. If England get one or two key injuries it could be very touchy getting out of that group.
