Sepp to Head to South Africa to Kick Slackers’ Ass into Gear
If you are worried about the slow pace of stadium construction in South Africa and are concerned the country might not be ready to host the World Cup in 2010, fear no more. FIFA head honcho Sepp Blatter will be taking another all-expenses paid trip to South Africa to stress the importance of getting the job done so that FIFA can make billions off the event. Said His Seppness: “For the moment they have plans, money, and decisions, but I have yet to see the pickaxes and spades needed to start the work.” Of course, Sepp won’t actually pick up a pickaxe or spade while he is there, but his mere presence should inspire a nation to rise up and make his dream a reality.
Seriously, if South Africa is relying on Blatter for motivation than we might as well book our tickets to Australia for 2010 right now.

There are 2 kinds of people in South Africa. The people that build and the people that build shit. Unfortunately the people that build shit are in charge of WC organisation who leave out the people that build. That is called BEE, AA or positive racism. That means having black Africans first is more important than organisation, quality and safety. That means that having a big mouth, being a outspoken racist, praise communism and having killed innocent people is more important than anything else. So forget the WC to be happening in SA! The whole structure is wrong.

Willy, you sound like a disgruntled ex-pat and you clearly don’t know what Black economic empowerment and Affirmative Action is all about. If you’ve left the country for those reasons, you are clearly not committed to re-dressing the inequalities left due to apartheid.
I hope for your sake, that you stay in the US. I wouldn’t want you to sit in a stadium, built by a black African. South Africa doesn’t need people like you. We need people who build, and you are NOT.
I am proud to be South African – I pity people like yourself, when we South African’s are reaping the benefits from a successful 2010 world cup.

I agree with Willy . the people incharge of South Africa at the moment doesn’t have a clue. They just want money and thats it… what about the electricity problems , nuclear waste in the water and food , poor state of hospitals , roads and what can we say about the crime ? Whats happening to South Africa it used to be a first world country ?
