Ghana is the worst oponnent USA could get

There is a wound 4 years old when USA lost to Ghana by harsh penalty so they'll have to cope with the revenge thing on their backs

Ghana on the other hand knows they are already the best African side and whatever they do from now on is a good result. The refs and USA don't really go together in World Cups and they struggled again with the decisions but managed to go through and now they will face The Last African Standing on their home soil – not a very good scenario for them

Also, USA plays best when they are underdogs – heavy underdogs. The whole world sees them as favourites tonight which is not a role they are comfortable and experienced with. It's gonna be a hard and interesting match

THE TRUTH (About the USA Failure)

ALTIDORE, instead of shooting, FELT.

The player ALTIDORE was in front of the Goal, at the end of the regular game time. But instead of Shooting, he SIMULATED a fault. It should be the Victory Goal, but the untrustfull player ALTIDORE ended with the AMERICAN DREAM.

GYAN, on the other hand, fought until the end and GOAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!

Choose your players better next time, USA. DONOVAN didn´t deserved to go home.

Ghana played a good game. The time wasting at the end was sad to see, as I feel it takes away from an otherwise great performance. I'm heartbroken the US are out, but they looked shocked after that extra-time goal, and never mentally got back into it. Ghana finished their chances better than we did. Altidore and Findley have a little ways to go in the finishing department.

Good on Ghana: they won fair and square. But (as the TV guys said) the US players can certainly hold their heads high. Four years from now, who knows? And this should definitely increase the visibility of MLS, which can only be good for my beloved Revolution!

Of course, I was also rooting for France. Sigh.
