Blatter: Only God can Stop 2010 World Cup in South Africa

By: WC Bob | June 18th, 2007 | 8 Comments »

The Seppster once again emerged from his dark, undisclosed cave today to spread joy and happiness to football fans everywhere. FIFA Czar-for-Life Sepp Blatter paid a call on South Africa to check on how preparations are going for the 2010 World Cup and to assure the country that he has no intention of moving the tournament despite his past musings.

“Only God can stop South Africa from hosting the World Cup,” the Fifa president said boldly, “but we ask for the Lord’s blessing to make this first World Cup in Africa to be successful.”

Fortunately for South Africa, God is not an official FIFA World Cup™ sponsor so even if the big guy in the sky wanted to move the competition to Australia, America or Germany, he probably doesn’t have the pocket change or the power to make that happen.

Luis, I don’t think Blatter is provoking the big man upstairs, on the contrary, the guys who did are those who said ‘not even God can sink the Titanic!’ Now THAT was indeed a dumb thing to say.

The guy is a total Dufus. I wish he would pick up a shovel and do some work instead of shooting off his dumb ass mouth.

It is great for “the world game”- to have South Africa hosting Africa’s first ever world cup. South Africa has much potential and many could expect good things from the South Africans.

The African representatives will
be:
South Africa
Cote d’Ivoire
Nigeria
Cameroon
Senegal
Morocco

Fifa is so ignorant, They have no idea what is currently happening in south africa. The infrastructure of south africa will collapse long before 2010.

But at least the criminals will have a good time raping, killing tourists from all over the world.

Welcome to the crime capital of the world where your life is worth nothing…

South Africa has 50 murders a day. A bl0ody day in Iraq is when 50 People get killed. The FIFA world cup in a war zone. What a joke. SA is busy becomming the second Zimbabwe. FIFA is giving money to corrupt and criminal Politicians by hosting it in SA.

South africa does not and will not have the infrastructure to host this. We are allready sitting with massive blackouts. Public transport is dangerous and I can just see the bodies of foreigners being sent home in the thousands when the WC is busy being played. Wake up people put pressure on this corrupt african state to shape up. Comming here is aprroving their behaviour. Stop the FIFA WC in SA.

I am South African so dont respond to me saying I dont know what I talk about.
