Although I cant say the same of some of the commentators. I suppose they need to keep their audience entertained, but there are some very poisonous comments that they throw around.

Bravo! A feast for the hearts of all football fans.

Its true though. When the players are out there on the field, there is no white or black, no asian or american or african. They're all football players, with one aim.

No, it's WAY cool!

The US-Ghana match is going to be intense; a really interesting matchup. Ghana will run the US into the ground if the US can't hold their composure and shape in the midfield, and the US has simply GOT to find a way to get the ball into the goal. Probably the biggest match for the US in it's meager footballing history, as expectations were high for us after the '02 Cup. This match will either restore our faith in our development of the game, or will set us back at least 4 years. After the Italy match, I have much higher confidence that our guys are up to the task, but debacles like the Czech game are so fresh in memory that it's hard to bring much more than hope. My fear is our lack of scoring punch will be our undoing, and a draw is the likely result. Regardless, I can't wait...GO USA!
