World Cup Geography Lessons

By: WC Bob | February 16th, 2006 | 1 Comment »

These days it seems like there is a new country popping up every other week. Countries are a growth industry. If you are like me, you still have a faded map on your wall that has USSR covering half the world and USA covering the other half. Those were simpler times when you knew that nuclear annihilation would come from one side of the world or another and it didn’t really matter what those other tiny countries in between were called anyway. Fortunately there are events like the Olympics and the World Cup to keep us all sharp with our geography so that we know where to locate countries like Côte of Arms, Cro-magnum and Tico-rama.
