World Cup Games to be Televised on 15-minute Delay

By: WC Bob | March 31st, 2006 | 3 Comments »

Have to admit that when I read this very official FIFA-like press release saying that all World Cup matches will be shown on a 15-minute delay on television, I was ready to fire off a letter of outrage to every politician in the world. But then I remembered that this is the season of April Fools and I had indeed been played for a fool. I’ll let you discover the clue that points to this being bogus. Good effort on the pranksters’ part. I’m sure FIFA will be happy to see their site completely ripped off. Who knows, maybe Sepp Blatter is the mastermind behind this one?

When I read the headline the first word that poped in my head was OUTRAGEOUS.

Anyway… the clues

1o - the address. vv instead of w

2o - It’s look like Fifa web site but it’s not

3o - The e-mail address points to vvorld cup instead o world.

But anyway… i’ll try to fool someone tomorrow with this very same news LOL
