World Cup Blog Fantasy League

We’ll be the first to admit that fantasy sports leagues have cost us jobs before. Keeping track of players’ statistics, trading guys, talking trash with our friends…it is really very addictive stuff that can consume your life. Since we are already consumed with the World Cup we figured we would play a little fantasy footie with the tournament. The Soccer Fantasy League site is where we are playing. Not only is it free and easy to join, but it also allowed us to set up a World Cup Blog division just for our readers and friends. We’d love for you to join us. After you sign up, choose to join the World Cup Blog division and then get busy buying and selling your World Cup players. You’ll want to do your homework because the Bob’s Big Boys team is going to be tough to beat. A new obsession is born…

I’m in.

I have also pre-registered at http://www.worldcuphotshots.com.

They have a £50 mini-league prize available, so it might be worth a few of us entering to try and get the prize for the blog league.

It’s also free.

[...] I’ve just submitted my squad in the World Cup Blogs league on the Soccer Fantasy League website. I was once a bit of a fantasy league junkie. While I still managed to submit a team into this seasons EPL Fantasy League, I don’t believe I’ve logged on since… a far cry from the weekly transfers I was making back in 2001-2002. [...]
