Women of the World Cup

By: Peter | June 28th, 2006 | 36 Comments »

If you appreciate the finer things in life, look no further. Over the last 19 days World Cup Blog has been snapping photos in an effort to convey the atmosphere, energy and intensity of being at the World Cup.

Along the way we happened to get a few pictures of some fine women attending games, cheering their team at the fan fest and making Germany generally more attractive. We set the pictures to music, threw in a video and now we’d like to share the best photos and best looking women with you while we wait for the quarterfinals.

what does this ode to the “women of the worldcup” confirm? That men are pigs as always, and can never look past a girl’s miniskirt and breast

Amma, pretty much yeah, you just have to accept that.

besides like a fine poster has said above, you get to watch men run around for 90 minutes then they exchange shirts!!!

Also we are learning about other cultures. Isn’ the theme “Meet Friends” or something

I vote for Brazil in having the best culture, any objections!

Observer,

maybe there a insurmountable cultural differences. I can only speak for the Germans, but our girls LOVE this kind of nasty voyeurism and western decadence…

Hehehe I have to agree after watching men sweat for 90mins + any injury time or over time I’d like to heal my eyes by looking at the beautiful women from all the countries.

One can say we are appreciating the beauty that every country has in the WC. Great teams and beautiful women.

:D

Amma,

don’t be a poor sport! By the way, German magazine “Der Spiegel” has published a “German Survival Guide” especially for US-american visitors (probably valuable for our Iranian, Saudi-arabian, and Tunesian guests, too). There are some articles I warmly recommend:

GERMAN EROTICA: The Land of Beer, Sausage and Sex Shops

Shopping in Germany is a pleasure. Souvenirs are plentiful and there are sex shops in every city, town and village. But be sure and leave your prudishness at home.

LOVE, SEX AND TENDERNESS: Dr. Sommer, the Birds and the Bees

In sex positive Germany, millions of teens first learn the ins and outs of flirting, falling in love and having sex in a wildly popular column in Bravo magazine. “Dr. Sommer” has been teaching kids how to do it since 1969.

Based on this, I think I would have liked to have seen a Croatia vs. Brazil final.

Amma, this just in:

Men like to look at attractive women. Well, actually, ANY women. Nature selected for this trait. It’s kind of a prerequisite for how we all (the humans) ended up here.

And men do “look past” just looks. It’s just a shame the Owners of this blog didn’t bother to post pictures of the women’s personalities.

Hmmm, not much diversity in your choice of “beauties.” (…y las Mexicanas???)
I admit some of the women I know into football and WC have our favorite teams based on hunkiness. Switzerland and Iran were a couple of favorites.

The fact of being married do not abolish your taste for enjoying the view of a fine chick.
But wives usually have problems dealing with that.

Yes Eric it is but if you read it properly…I meant Costa Rica, Mexico, Ecuador, Argentina, and yes Brazil.

Men like looking at women — yes. And women like looking at men — yes.

But i haven’t seen any posts by women saying “oh lets show images of the hunkiest best barechested male fans at the world cup!” So why are men under the guise of celebrating female fans showing pics of butts, breasts and midrifs, huhhh?

In fact, the only way to compensate women all over the world for having to put up with this “women of the worldcup blog” is to post one for “men of the world cup” and show us the hunkiest, nakedest men Germany 2006 has to offer! All in favor say aye…

And I second all the comments about underrespresenting the female fans — all i saw was only three or four european countries over and over again and tons of Brazil…

From one country genius! What about the others that I listed? One country does not represent the whole of Latin America.

Daniel, dude, you need to say what you mean. If you don’t, you can’t expect the rest of us to figure it out by telepathy.

You didn’t complain that there weren’t enough Mexicans, or that there weren’t enough Argentinans. You complained that there weren’t enough Latin Americans.

But there are.
