Women Helped Keep the Peace at World Cup

By: WC Bob | November 9th, 2006 | 4 Comments »

The Berlin Senate has issued a report that attributes the lack of fan violence at the World Cup in Germany in part to the large number of women and families who attended the tournament. “More women means less aggression and usually that men drink less,” Hans-Juergen Schulke, professor of sport sociology at the University of Bremen, said in an interview.

Hooray for the Women of the World Cup!

The Germans make sure that their women of the night are safe. For those of you heading down to South Africa in 2010 be careful. They just don’t have the safety standards in place like the Germans did. The safest course is always the “Bob Method” which is drink beer, blog, watch soccer and talk to people from all over the world.
