Winners and Losers of the World Cup Week

Another week down and now we are inside of three weeks before we experience that blissful nirvana known as the World Cup. The past week was a fruitful one with the roster announcements for each team. We also learned that people collect Spam cans, you can buy World Cup vibrators for your loved ones and that Ronaldinho’s bed is a desirable place. Along the way we talked a little football, got accused of homoeroticism and had another splendid time with all of you. Here are some winners and losers from the past seven days.

Winners

736 Players – Spending your summer kicking a ball in Germany is pretty nice gig if you can get it.

Bad commercials – Who knew that something so awful could be loved by so many? Well, Pepsi must have known.

Sappy commercials – It doesn’t take much to get us crying like a baby and ready to play ball.

Champions League – A wonderful appetizer before this year’s main course.

A Good Night’s Sleep – Ronaldinho will make sure your bed is warm and cozy.

Otto Pfister – This year’s winner of the prestigious Slacker Coach Award.

Losers

Summer vacations – They aren’t that much fun if you had your sights set on Germany.

Spam Can collectors – We don’t know who these people are nor do we want to know them.

FIFA Rankings – People in America Samoa aren’t the only ones who dislike them.
