We Interrupt the Half Naked Photos…

By: WC Bob | May 23rd, 2006 | 2 Comments »

You know that it is World Cup time when magazines like National Geographic replace pictures of half naked women from remote lands with images of football being played around the world. The neat part about this month’s issue is that it has excerpts from The Thinking Fan’s Guide to the World Cup, a book I hyped a few weeks back. This way you can have a gander at some of the writing from people like Nick Hornby for free and see if it is something you dig enough that you’ll want to buy it. The photo gallery is also pretty cool, even though everyone is kinda clothed.

Why can’t we have the best of both worlds and have half-naked ladies women playing football?
