Wayne Rooney Stinks at Gambling

We have some financial advice for all of you loyal readers out there. If Wayne Rooney puts his money on red, you are advised to put your money on black. According to newspaper reports in England, Rooney has racked up gambling debts of £700,000. We thought he only spent that kind of money on the other love of his life, prostitutes. The gambling has led England’s Football Association to ask coach Sven-Goran Eriksson to talk to Rooney about his spending habits. We’re not sure what words of wisdom Sven can share in this regard, but while he is talking to Rooney he might as well tell the kid to stay away from sheikhs. I’m sure we’ll read all about this in Rooney’s forthcoming five-part autobiography. Can’t wait. For those of you who like to place bets on a slightly smaller scale, check out our World Cup fantasy football contest. Rumor has it Rooney has picked Denmark to win the World Cup. You’d be advised to pick someone else.
