Viva World Cup
Think it is difficult for your country to qualify for the World Cup? Try living in a place that isn’t even recognized as a county and isn’t allowed to take part in the qualifying rounds. For players living in places like Tibet, Cyprus and Kosovo, the Viva World Cup offers some hope. The tournament is scheduled to feature 8 unrecognized countries in Cyprus in November. Rumored teams include: Cyprus, Tibet, Chechnya, Kosovo and Monaco, plus teams representing Western Sahara, Occitania and the Sami people. Notably absent from this list is Wales, which apparently can’t even qualify for this one.

Amazing iniciative! The beautiful sport to give voice to the little nations that exist but are not considered. Monaco have F1, and are filthy rich, but the others can use some help.

Bob your an idiot leaving that comment about Wales. Wales has a tiny population and produced some of the best players in footballing history. They also got to the Quarter finals of the 1958 WC only losing to Brazil, and qualified for the 1976 Euro’s. so dont be so ignorant and childish.

Hi all, I’ve just found this blog. Euler, be quiet, you are Dutch and therfore you talk mince. Bob and Gavin, calm down, Wales aren’t eligible as they are FIFA members.(Gavin, you are correct, though!) Greetings to Oswaldo, I’ve seen the website and you’ve done a good job!
Good luck to the teams entering in either version; a pity, though, that there has been a fall-out between the KTFF and the NFB, ensuring that there shall be rival versions of the same tournament being played concurrently between 19/11/06-25/11/06.
Sort it, simple as!
