Video of Allianz Arena being Built

The Allianz Arena in Munich was one of the coolest stadiums in the 2006 World Cup and it is one of the coolest stadiums in the world. You can watch it rise from dirt to finish in less than three minutes in the video below. It will be fun to see some of the new stadiums in South Africa once they are built. Thanks to Nick at the Manchester United Offside for passing along the video.

South Africa has not left itself much room for error. If delays arise some of their stadiums might not be ready at the start of June 2010. South African will have to try awful hard to out engineer us Germans. All you have to do is look at the Magdeburg Elbe River Bridge. That is an engineering marvel. Just one of many in dem Deutschen Vaterland.
