United States Defeat Venezuela
Brian Ching and Clint Dempsey scored to lead the United States to a 2-0 victory over Venezuela Friday night in Cleveland, Ohio. Now that I’ve had a few hours to reconsider the win, I’m going to give more credit than I originally felt last night.
Sure, that was Venezuela last night, but we played with our B team. And, we didn’t look pressed or flustered at any point.
I’ll take the win, but I’m not going to put any stock in it, as far as World Cup expectations go.
