Unite for Children, Unite for Peace

We do our fair share of FIFA-bashing around here because frankly they are pretty easy to bash. It is only right and natural that we applaud FIFA when they do something right. Today is one of those rare occasions. FIFA and UNICEF have teamed up to launch a Unite for Children, Unite for Peace campaign designed to bring awareness to the plight of children around the world. Some of the big name World Cup stars are taking part in the campaign, which should gain a lot of exposure during the tournament.

I’ve worked with UNICEF in the past and although it isn’t a perfect organization, it does do a lot of good and critically important work. Check out the campaign website for more details and if you feel so compelled I’m sure they’d appreciate your support.
