Two Months to Go. We’re Excited!

The pot at the end of the rainbow is starting to come into sight with the World Cup now a mere two months away from kicking off. We’ve been blogging about the darn thing since the Dark Ages so we are just a wee bit excited that the start of the tournament is not too far off. A lot of you great and wonderful readers have been with us for the past few weeks and months. Some of you are new. In either case, we figure it is about time that we properly introduce ourselves to you. Like every site out there we have FAQ and About Us pages but I know I never read those things. So instead here is our 60-days-away introduction.

Bloggers, Bloggers, Everywhere
The best part about World Cup Blog is our bloggers. Not only are they sexy, smart and sexy, but they also love footie. Currently we have over 30 bloggers on five continents blogging about the 32 World Cup teams and those much loved referees. All of our bloggers are simply doing this because they are fans. Click on their names to check out their profiles. They are interesting folks. If I could, I would give them a big hug. Did I mention they are sexy?

Readers, Readers, Everywhere
People from all over the world are stopping by to read our posts and to contribute their comments. Since January the number of people visiting the site daily has more than tripled. Go ahead and tell your friends about us. We want this to be one big home for football fans from around the world.

What do you have in store for the World Cup?
We have a slew of bloggers that are going to be in Germany during the tournament. We plan on covering the thing like crazy. Podcasts, video, LiveBlogs…you name it, we are going to give it a try.
