Travolta won’t Pilot Socceroos Flight to World Cup
What a let down. We were all excited when we heard that John Travolta offered to help pilot Australia’s flight to the World Cup, but alas that offer turned out to be little more than a rumor. Travolta, a Qantas airlines ambassador who like many of us fell in love with Australia when he danced with that chick Olivia Newton John in the movie Grease, will instead send a personal greeting to the team. A nice sentiment, but we’d like to see him show a little more support for the guys in green and gold.
One way that Travolta and all Australia fans can get behind their team is to wear a pair of officially licensed Socceroos underwear. According to the manufacture’s website:
“…you can be sure that Harry Kewell and Mark Viduka won’t be taking any chances. If lucky undies is what it takes, Mitch Dowd has got our boys — and their fans — covered!!
Somehow we think that it is going to take a bit more than lucky undies for Australia to knock off Brazil, but if they do win you can bet that many people will be rushing out to get some new skivvies after they crap their pants.

No better way to support a team than to wear ball crushing underwear. Those spandex undies looks like they would hurt. What size do you think Viduka wears?

It’s a good thing Travolta’s not piloting. After 32 years, we’d like to have our players arrive in Germany in one piece and, alive.
