Top 10 All-Time World Cup Goals
If you don’t get fired up watching these ten amazing clips of past geat World Cup goals than you really need to go to your doctor and check to make sure you still have a heart. I’m especially fond of the ninth ranked goal scored by Manuel Negrete in 1986 and I could spend all day watching Pele score when he was 17. Too bad we still have 81 more days to go before Germany 2006. I’m can’t wait to see who will come up with the goal of the tournament this summer. Which one of these goals do you think is the best?

Props to Mexico for two entries, but I’ve no dispute with Maradona at #1. His explanation for that goal is priceless, too. He has said that that run proved successful because the English are the most honorable footballers in the world. I.e., if the tables were turned, he’d have laid down a crazy tackle to stop it. Class goal, and no hands needed.

Ditto that diving header by Letchkov against Germany in USA ‘94. Both clips are on the fifa website.
