Statistics Prove Germany will Win World Cup

At World Cup Blog, we are deathly afraid of numbers. Addition, subtraction, calculus . . . it all gives us a big fat headache. Fortunately there are academic eggheads who love nothing better than to crunch numbers and to tell us how the world really operates. Included in this elite group is a professor of statistics at the Universität Dortmund who has developed a formula that shows that Germany will win the World Cup. Now that we know the winner, we might as well all stay home and think about something else. Anyone want to blog for our new World Cup Curling site?
