Soca Warriors Ice Iceland

By: WC Bob | February 28th, 2006 | 1 Comment »

Dwight Yorke scoring goals again on English soil; the world feels right again. Yorke, who made his name scoring goals in England for many years, netted a pair of goals in leading Trinidad and Tobago to a 2-0 win over Iceland in a friendly in London. The Soca Warriors looked impressive against an underwhelming Iceland side. If Yorke is on form this summer, and if fellow striker Stern John can find the mark, T&T could cause a bit of trouble for its Group B opponents this summer.
