Police on the Lookout for Dog Painting Hooligans

Authorities in Schleiden, Germany are searching for a dog snatcher who stole a pet and painted it black, red and gold – the colors of the German flag. The eight-year-old Maltese Terrier named Simba was so soaked in paint that it had to be completely shaved after it was found. There is no proof that this crime was football-related, but the dog’s owner thinks that is the case. Says Theresa Carl, “I bet some horrid football fans did this to him, everyone is going mad in the run up to the World Cup.” There’s probably a joke we could make about this one, but this story is so wrong on so many levels…and we have to catch a connecting flight.
