Notice how the press mentions Peter Gabriel and some opera singer but not Black Eyed Peas? (Not to mention David Hasselhoff — but that’s probably due to the ongoing Big Head controversy.)

Personally, I don’t think Munich cancelled due to fears of harming the pitch. I think the cognitive dissonance resulting from having Peter Gabriel and Fergie in the same place was too much for some.
