Nominate your Player to the All-Ugly World Cup Team
Earlier today we asked your thoughts on who will be the ugliest player in this summer’s World Cup. Obviously this is a hot button issue since we have been inundated with emails, comments, and faxes. People from all over the globe are chiming in with their nominations. It is not too late for you to nominate a player or two. Take a look at some of the current nominees and let us know if we are missing any beauty challenged players. We are a few players short of an All-Ugly Starting XI but we have faith that you can help us round out the roster.
Rio Ferdinand
Wayne Rooney
Dwight Yorke
Peter Crouch
Ronaldinho
Carlos Tevez
Cuauhtemoc Blanco
Jaap Stam
One of my al-time favourites are Collin Hendry and Christian Ziege.

Carlos Tevez, no doubts about it. He is the ugliest player.

Carlos Tevez and Ronaldinho (Barça). It’s very hard to choose one.

How is Dietmar Hamann NOT on this list? Good player, but he looks like a deformed parrot.

[...] But wait! Not everything is lost! Beckham is still the second. Jokes apart, the list of most valuable stars still have great non-metrosexual talents like Messi, Ronaldo, Eto’o and Ballack among others. Ronaldinho may be ugly as a Chupacabra, but his talent got him in the cover of the Fifa Soccer game, the world’s largest money making industry known to mankind. This post is to celebrate talent over looks. [...]

[...] Choosing which side to root for in this battle is almost as difficult as picking the ugliest player at the World Cup. [...]
