Nike to Pay Brazil $6 Million for World Cup Win
Brazil’s seleção will be wearing the Nike swoosh until at least 2018 thanks to a new deal between the shoe company and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF). Nike will reportedly pay $12 million per year to sponsor the world’s top ranked team. Additionally, Brazil will receive a $6 million bonus from Nike if it wins its sixth World Cup title – a payout that is miniscule compared to the money Nike will make if Brazil wins.
