There’s news today out of England that Wayne Rooney used his dinged foot to kick a ball and that he might kick a ball again on Monday. This naturally has set off a wave of hysteria with money flooding in on the Rooney to play in World Cup bet. The tension will only mount until Wednesday when he undergoes another scan on that pesky metatarsal. While some might attribute his apparent recovery to being young, we like to think it has more to do with the powers of virtual positive healing. Now can someone please create a site that will help me never hear about Wayne Rooney’s metatarsal ever again? Much obliged.
