Mystic Ball

This is the coolest video I have seen since that 10-year-old Turkish kid. Apparently it comes from a documentary film made in Myanmar (Burma) about the sport of Chinlone. Simply beautfiul to watch. Much obliged to blog reader Tomislav Chagall for sending this in so we can all enjoy it.

Holy sweetness! It’s spectator hackey sack! That video was awesome. It must take some serious practice to be doing stuff like that. Time to polish up the skills with the soccer ball:)

bob,

i made a mistake: it’s from burma, not thailand — chinlone (aka mystic ball | ball juggling) is the country’s national sport.

cheers,
tomislav

Very, very impressive and entertaining. If kids are doing this all over Burma what kind of soccer potential is across the country? The human spirit does find expression in all sorts of ways doesn’t it? Just watching that makes you feel like a kid again.

Mystic Ball and Chinlon – Got Ball Control??

We’ve all seen some amazing videos of people with astounding ball juggling and control skills, but there is something that makes them look like childs play. You won’t believe the ability of the players of Chinlon….
