Lukas Podolski deserves the young player award more than anyone else. Fabergast might be younger and more talented (as a midfielder) but Podolski’s stunning performance during the 13-0 win against San Marino during the UEFA Euro 2008 Qualifyers sure tells a whole lot more than what we have seen! He is a rising star. Although he is not as handsome as Cristiano Ronaldo or as highly paid as Wayne Rooney. I can assure you his future will certainly be brighter than all of them! He will be the next Jurgen Klinsman!

well… apparently he was only born in poland (in a region that used to be german before that stupid austrian bolocks started a war) but grew up in cologne… it’s not about where u r born, it’s about where ur home is…
