Look out for Turkey in 2014

By: WC Bob | April 4th, 2006 | 18 Comments »

We’re already on record as saying that the World Cup will be played in Brazil in 2014. Now we are ready to make another on of our infallible predictions. Keep an eye on Turkey in 2014. As you can see from the video below, clearly Turkey will be the team to beat because the 10-year-old next Maradona/Ronaldinho you see playing here will be 18 then and there isn’t a chance in hell he won’t turn out to be a superstar. I just hope this kid doesn’t think he should be out having fun like most 10-year-olds. Remember when you saw videos like this featuring the Ghanaian-American wunderkid Freddy Adu?

Bloody hell. I bet those opposing players were happy to be done with that game. Amazing the poise for a young kid and I loved that he almost never looked to score, just laid on a better pass for his team-mates. No doubt he’ll be on Chelsea’s roster by next week.

Well, Euler, Ronaldinho can do this stuff NOW. But could he do this when he was this kids age…? Is it “that” normal??? The kid’s thinking 2 minutes ahead than the others… Control is no problem for him… Most adults will never reach this level…

It looks to me like he is playing with older kids…and outclassing them. His daddy must be proud…

@Euler, there is no way this is ‘another normal kid’. I’ve seen kids in Brazil play, and granted there are kids that may be almost as good or as good, but they are 15 or 16, or even older. Talent like this is far and few in between.
If this was everyday talent, we would not be hailing the talents of Ronaldinho, Messi and C. Ronaldo as much as we do.

If you want to see the real next gem check out Jean Carlos Chera in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vjHBtz1rKUM&search=brazil%20soccer%20kid and he just happens to be Brazilian so he unlike any other kid is most probable to win the world cup.
