Well, i'm shocked, to say the least... I know it's been almost a month now since the end of the WC, but MAN, I had to say something...

I think that now that the WC is over it's easier to anylise things.
Germany, in all fairness was a disapointing team before the World Cup Began, nobody realy believed this team would go very far.
And yet, they finished beautifuly, with a well played 3-1 victory, Germany may not have taken the Cup, but they gave something to German sports fans that is just as, if not more important than the Cup, The Feeiling that they have done a great job.
It's hard, but i have to admit, the German Boys were just no match, for the tough Italian defensive and relatively experienced team, and yet, they managed to hand the Italians a hard ass match. But they did all they could, they pushed themselves to the max, and in the end, that's wat matters in sports, doing the best you can, and yes, i know, it sounds cheasy and clichê, but would you disagree with me? Would you tell me that ultimately wat matters is winning? I mean, even on the professional level, Klinsmann may have not led the Gemrans to a Fourth World Cup Title, but never the less, almost every one who was against his management at the start of the tournament, wound up begging him to stay, media, fans, etc...so I'm guessing, that not winning but, doing his best paid off after all...

Oh yeah, I just thought I'd say something about hansies remark:
Dude, I'm sorry you hate Germany so bad, but ultimately, the gemran anguish that delited you after that match, withered away, and now joy, and euforia are taking hold of Germany, so, keep on hating us, but we won't care... I know that a lot of you people (Hatefull Fucks) hate us, mainly Argetines, after this World Cup, but hey, Face facts, we did, we know our team wasn't a Dream Team out of the FIFA 100, and we were rewarded with a great world cup campain!
And I agree with Juerggen, Boring German Soccer (1994-2002), is dead...and as soon as these boys gain some experience, it'll be the start of a new age, hopefully, even better than the Franz Beckenbauer and Gerd Müller age!

Catch you later sports fans!

(And I mean real sports fans, not dumb asses that use soccer as a scape goat for settling ethnic, regional, and international rivalries)

Quoting Sam "Try to see past the stereotype and work out how many times Italy has dived. Compare it to the number of times a team such as Germany has dived."

Dives:

Italy-40
Germany-24

To those who say Germany leads Italy in dives, watch the game again. See how many times play is blown dead when a player is down on the field and the opposing team has control of the ball. No surprise! Italy wins that contest hands down. There's a time when Grosso goes after a ball that goes out for a goal kick. He turns around to head up field with no one around him. Germany then has the ball in wide open space on the right flank. Whistle blows, guess what? Grosso is mysteriously down with not a German in sight.

You can also see Gattuso's incredible sportsmanlike behaviour towards Ballack after they both collide going for the ball. Gattuso gives him a nice fingernail rake across the neck. What a piece of shit move that was.

Sorry Italian footballers but your reputation precedes you. The only difference between you guys and Ronaldo, is that you guys fall down when the ref ISN'T looking, then all raise your hands to bring it to his attention. Ronaldo's problem is that he hasn't figured out a way to have the ref looking the other while he has the ball.

Thank goodness we can all agree that Eltomas (or is it El-dumbass?) and Hansie and the biggest bigots and idiots on this blog.

Germany played great from start to finish. Phillip Lahm's goal was an amazing start to some incredible goals this tourney. Boring German football is a thing of the past. Sweden was lucky not to lose 6-0. And all you down and out ARGIE fans can stop your whining. You managed a draw against NED and barely beat IVORY COAST, and the SERBS layed down after it 2-0. You had your chances but only scored one measley goal against this "boring" team, so shut the hell up.
