Let the World Cup Ad Campaigns Begin
Ahhhh the smell of capitalism is in the air. As the World Cup inches closer, the marketing forces of the world’s largest companies are starting to get their games into gear. Nike, which has received a number of barbs from WCB readers for its uniform designs, is rolling out a Play Beautiful campaign featuring none other than Eric Cantona. Seems a bit lame to me, but I’m sure before the World Cup is over there will be some clever ads on the telly. If you want to see some great ads from previous World Cups as well as other football-related spots, this is one site you should check out.
