Lehmann’s pulling out a list was a brilliant move. Even if it was just a blank piece of paper it would have had the same desired effect of messing with the Argie PK takers.

I know its been said but I agree that Argentina disgraced themselves after the game.

PS…European soccer continues to set the standard others strive for.

I agree that Germany deserved that game. I don’t know why Argentinians typically behave in such a poor fashion when facing defeat. It really was a terrible thing to see at the world cup.

It wouldn’t hurt the Argies to take some etiquette classes.

germany was the better team in that match. it was obvious. and it was really shameful that it had to end in a fist fight. it was the world stage for chrissake! you’re representing your country and you act like that after a match?

Whether there was provocation or not there is no excuse for that kind of behavior. You accept defeat and walk of the pitch, end of story.

That’s not true. Argies and French are famous for being very very poor sports. You don’t need to dig into history to see this just look at the past world cup.

how can u say germany has a better team than argentina … germany only go to the semis because they played at home … germany is the most corupted nation in football … only reason why they have won three world cups in the first place, look at when they won in 1990, or when they beat hungary (who has the best team going around by a long shot) or when they beat holland … all three games were fixed
