Lame Bus Slogan Has Dutch Coach Seeing Orange
It was only a matter of time. A few weeks back we showed you the largely pathetic slogans that fans selected on the FIFA website to represent their teams in Germany. These slogans have been painted on the team buses and at least one coach, Netherlands boss Marco van Basten, is none too pleased to be seen slumming around in his country’s vehicle.
The slogan that brings discontent to van Basten’s heart is: ‘Orange on the way to gold’.
Compared to some of the other team slogans this one doesn’t seem to bad to me, but it comes off as too cocky to van Basten.
“We don’t like it because we try to keep everything calm and this might be seen as a provocation” he said.
No such worries for United States coach Bruce Arena whose bus is devoid of slogans and flags to fool the evildoers.
Meanwhile, don’t be surprised if the residents of Oehringen throw eggs at Australia’s bus.

Aw, come on Aussies. You gotta show up for that stuff. Bad karma.

Is anybody else worried that terrorists might have any easy time finding the bus WITHOUT SLOGANS!

Holland can’t lift the cup. They are too young:young players, young coach. The slogan is only a way to encourage themselves.I also don’t like Germany’s “We are football”.
