That thing said my name would be Walkinho, which I wasn’t that stoked about. Iwas hoping it would incorporate the C-with-tail letter into my name somehow. However, national hero + hot Brazilian women = they can call me whatever the hell they want.

Mine would be Eulinho Carioca. The diminutive of my name and where do I come from. Carioca means ‘from the city of Rio’. But the Carioca would be used only if there were another Eulinho, as happened with the Ronaldinhos.

Ronaldo was called Ronaldinho here in Brazil when he was younger. Ronaldinho became famous after, so people added the Gaucho to differ one from another.

Ronaldo went to Europe, got bigger and people started to call him just Ronaldo.

Oh yeah, using the second name as being the state of origin is quite common as Euler said (hence Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Juninho Pernambucano, and many many others).

Well, I’m Brazilian and a female. But if I were male and on the Brazil team, my name would be the male version of Sandra (which is a popular name in Brazil): Sandro.

That’s assuming of course that I hadn’t collected some other nickname from when I was quite young. Which is likely, given that several of the Brazil player names you’re all familiar with (Kaka, Cafu, Cicinho, Pele, etc.) were all nicknames they earned when they were kids, and given to them by children. Kaka’s name, for example, comes from the fact that his little baby nephew could never say his real name correctly and called his young uncle “kaka.” (His real name is Ricardo).

Given that fact, my name would probably be Sandrinho, since to this day many in my family call me Sandrinha (and I passed the age of being called “little Sandra” long ago).

Suddenly I feel 100% Brazilian!
