Hey Taxi! Watch the World Cup & Drink Beer while you Ride

Now this is our kind of ride. A taxi driver in Munich is installing digital televisions and beer-filled refrigerators in a fleet of ten taxi cabs so that drivers and passengers don’t miss a second of the World Cup. Says Ghazi Mahmood, “If passengers are late for a game or the roads have too many cars and traffic, they know they can relax and not miss anything. They can have beer, sit back and enjoy. No problem.” At least two other rival taxi companies are planning a similar service. Somehow we think that the rate of traffic accidents in Munich is likely to increase every time there is a goal scored.
