Germany, Here We Come

Germany proclaimed today that it is ready for the World Cup, but does Germany really know what it is getting into? We’re going to find out real soon because World Cup Blog is flying to Germany in a few hours. Lest you think that all we are going to do there is watch football and drink beer, I’d like to reassure you that we are actually going to be doing quite a bit of work in between the football and the beer. Our goal is to bring the World Cup experience to you, while also enabling you to share your World Cup experiences with others wherever you may be in this wonderful world.

Here is what you can expect to find on our site during the month-long tournament.

Team Blogs – We have 30+ men and women in place ready to blog like crazy about every team in the World Cup. Their blogs will be where you want to head for the best analysis and opinions, as well as where you can leave your thoughts about teams and games.

LiveBlogs – Fingers willing, we’re going to blog while every match is taking place. If you are away from your television or just feel like reading the crazy rants of madmen in real time, stop on by and enjoy our LiveBlogs. There is no better way to watch Tunisia-Saudi Arabia. That’s a money-back guarantee.

Photos & Video – Not only will we be collecting and posting crazy visuals from Germany, but we’re going to give you the chance to post you own photos and videos. You’ll be able to let the world see how people celebrate goals, etc in your house and in your country. This is going to be a very cool feature. I’ve also been told that we’ll be setting up a special page just for pictures of hot supporters so all you perverts out there can rejoice.

Podcasts – You’ll be able listen to my fingers-on-chalkboard voice on your mp3 player wherever you go. We’re also planning on doing some video predictions that will reveal how bad we are at forecasting matches.

Features, Interviews, Brothel Research – We’ve got a bunch of talented hacks that will be in the country so they’ll be going near and far to deliver some stories you aren’t going to find anywhere else in this universe.
