German Police told to they must be Metrosexuals

First a country known for its efficiency pulls the rug on the World Cup opening gala just five months before the scheduled spectacle. Now its Interior Ministry has issued a diktat that I know will make us all feel safer when we are there this summer.

What is going on in Germany?

According to the German magazine Der Spiegel, Germany’s police officers have been told to clean up their act. Out are the three-day beards, bad haircuts and slovenly appearance of previous generations of crime fighters.

In are “socially appropriate� policemen who will make Germany look like a country of Metrosexuals.

When we aren’t busy having our nails done and receiving facials, at Blog Central we like to think that the police exist to serve and exist, not to look like supermodels who make us look like the poorly dressed slobs that we really are.
